About The Role
We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level, proactive support to a member of the Group Executive Committee and a small group of senior directors. Acting as a true right-hand partner, you’ll play a critical role in enabling leaders to focus on strategic priorities by seamlessly managing day-to-day operations. This is a fast-paced, high-trust role where discretion, sound judgement and strong organisational skills are essential to success.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing complex and constantly evolving diaries, ensuring leaders’ time is protected and aligned to strategic priorities
- Acting as a gatekeeper by filtering communications, prioritising requests, and managing access to senior leaders
- Providing end-to-end meeting support, including preparation of materials, coordination and follow-up actions
- Proactively managing inboxes, responding where appropriate and ensuring key items are flagged and progressed
- Coordinating domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries and adapting plans as needed
- Organising and delivering high-quality events and meetings, both onsite and offsite
- Managing expenses, purchase orders, invoices and supporting procurement processes
- Supporting team administration, including holiday approvals, sickness tracking and general coordination
- Assisting with project-related activities such as scheduling, tracking milestones and organising meetings
- Working collaboratively within the wider administration team to provide cover and support as required

Who we’re looking for
We’re seeking a highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys working closely with senior stakeholders. You’ll be confident, adaptable and able to manage competing priorities with ease, while maintaining a high level of professionalism and discretion. A strong relationship-builder, you’ll bring a “can do” attitude and the ability to anticipate needs, solve problems and keep things moving forward.
Essential Skills And Experience
- Proven experience providing executive support to senior leaders (Director/Executive level)
- Advanced diary management skills and strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (particularly Outlook)
- Excellent organisational, time management and prioritisation skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships across all levels
Desirable skills and experience
- Experience working within financial services or a regulated environment
- Familiarity with virtual meeting platforms (e.g. Teams, Zoom) and coordinating large-scale meetings or events
