Executive Assistant to the CEO

Location: Central London — 5 days per week, office-based

Salary: Up to £70,000

Type: Full-time, permanent

Reports to: Founder & CEO

The Opportunity

We are looking for an exceptional Executive Assistant to become the right hand to a highly successful and ambitious Founder, currently leading multiple high-growth ventures across hospitality, food & beverage, real estate, technology and investment.

This is far more than a traditional EA role.

You will work directly alongside a Founder with huge ambitions, gaining exceptional exposure to multiple businesses, projects, investments and strategic initiatives as the group continues to scale.

No two days will be the same.

One day you could be coordinating an international trip and preparing for an investor meeting; the next, driving actions across a major project, supporting a commercial negotiation or building a new process to make the wider business operate more effectively.

It is fast-paced, demanding and constantly evolving — but equally rewarding for someone who thrives in this type of environment.

The Founder moves quickly, operates across multiple businesses simultaneously and expects a high level of ownership from the people around them. You will become the person they trust to bring structure, anticipate what is needed, protect their time and ensure priorities keep moving.

For the right person, this is an opportunity to make a genuine impact and grow alongside an ambitious group of businesses.

The Role

You will become a genuine right hand to the Founder, ensuring everything around them operates effectively.

You will take complete ownership of their diary and travel, but your impact will extend significantly beyond traditional executive support.

You will help create structure around a fast-moving Founder, drive projects forward, build and improve processes, coordinate senior stakeholders and ensure the wider team remains accountable to key priorities and deadlines.

You will need to be comfortable operating with autonomy. Rather than waiting to be told what to do, you will anticipate, take ownership and make things happen.

Your Responsibilities

  • Take complete ownership of the Founder’s calendar across multiple businesses, projects and priorities.
  • Protect their time and ensure attention remains focused on the highest-impact activities.
  • Manage a constantly evolving schedule and confidently resolve conflicts at pace.
  • Prepare the Founder thoroughly for meetings, including agendas, briefing notes, documentation and key information.
  • Run structured daily and weekly forward looks to ensure upcoming priorities are anticipated.
  • Take ownership of complex UK and international travel, including itineraries, accommodation, transport and last-minute changes.
  • Coordinate meetings across leadership teams, investors, advisers, lawyers, banks, partners and other senior stakeholders.
  • Capture decisions and actions and ensure they are followed through.
  • Track deadlines and confidently hold people accountable on the Founder’s behalf.
  • Support multiple live projects and strategic initiatives simultaneously.
  • Build processes and introduce structure where it will improve the effectiveness of the Founder and wider business.
  • Manage and triage communications, ensuring commercially important or urgent matters receive immediate attention.
  • Prepare high-quality presentations, correspondence and business documents.
  • Take ownership of ad hoc projects and independently solve problems as they arise.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Who We’re Looking For

This environment will not suit everyone.

We are looking for someone who has already operated within a fast-paced, high-growth business and genuinely thrives when there is a lot happening at once.

You will have proven professional experience as an Executive Assistant and understand what it takes to support a highly ambitious Founder operating across multiple priorities.

You will ideally have:

  • Experience supporting a Founder, CEO or C-suite executive.
  • Experience within a high-growth start-up, scale-up, entrepreneurial or multi-entity environment.
  • Experience supporting an ambitious Founder or executive with multiple competing priorities.
  • Proven experience managing complex diaries and international travel.
  • The ability to manage multiple projects and workstreams simultaneously without losing attention to detail.
  • A track record of taking ownership rather than waiting for instruction.
  • Experience creating processes and bringing structure to fast-moving environments.
  • Confidence coordinating senior teams, chasing actions and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Experience handling highly confidential commercial, financial and personal information.
  • Confidence working with senior external stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Like

You will be exceptionally organised, proactive and commercially switched on.

You naturally think ahead. You spot problems before they happen and, wherever possible, solve them before they ever reach the Founder.

You will be comfortable with pace, pressure and change. Priorities can move quickly, so you need to remain calm, adaptable and highly effective when they do.

Most importantly, you will have a genuine ownership mentality.

You will want to improve things, build better processes, make an impact and become someone the Founder can completely rely on.

You will also be:

  • Highly organised with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Confident, direct and comfortable communicating with senior stakeholders.
  • An excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Discreet and trusted with sensitive information.
  • Tech-fluent across Google Workspace and/or Microsoft Office, calendars, travel platforms and project-management tools.
  • High energy, resilient and motivated by ambitious environments.

The Non-Negotiables

  • 3+ years’ professional experience as an Executive Assistant, ideally supporting a Founder, CEO or C-suite executive.
  • Previous experience within a fast-paced, high-growth start-up, scale-up or similarly entrepreneurial environment.
  • Based in London and able to work 5 days per week from the office.
  • Comfortable working directly alongside a highly ambitious Founder in a demanding environment.
  • Flexibility to be responsive outside standard working hours when international travel, important projects or deals require it.
  • Full right to work in the UK.

Why Join?

This is an opportunity to work directly alongside an exceptional Founder with huge ambitions, rather than sitting on the sidelines of the business.

You will have visibility across multiple high-growth ventures, work closely with senior decision-makers and gain exposure to areas of business that most traditional EA roles simply do not offer. There is significant responsibility, pace and expectation but with that comes trust, autonomy, exposure and the opportunity to make a genuine impact.

For someone who wants to become an indispensable right hand to a Founder and grow alongside an ambitious group of businesses, this could be an exceptional next move.
