Executive Assistant – Hedge Fund

Central London | Circa £60,000 + Bonus & Excellent Benefits | 4 Days in Office

We’re partnering with a highly regarded hedge fund to find an experienced Executive Assistant to support a small group of senior leaders within the business.

This is a busy, internationally focused role where priorities move quickly and diaries are complex. They need someone who is genuinely excellent at the fundamentals of being an EA, but attitude and approach are equally important.

The culture is collaborative and down-to-earth, with a strong EA team who work closely together. They’re looking for someone proactive, positive and willing to get stuck in – an EA who can confidently manage and protect their executives’ time while remaining approachable and easy to work with across the wider business.

The Role

  • Managing complex, frequently changing diaries for senior leaders
  • Coordinating meetings across multiple international offices and time zones
  • Extensive international travel planning, including detailed itineraries and last-minute changes
  • Proactively managing clashes, anticipating issues and ensuring priorities are handled effectively
  • Acting as a trusted gatekeeper while building strong relationships across the business
  • Coordinating internal and external meetings, calls and wider business commitments
  • Managing expenses and general administration
  • Working closely with the wider EA team, providing cover and support when needed
  • Building a strong understanding of your executives, their priorities and how they like to work
  • Taking ownership of requests and approaching problems with a practical, can-do mentality

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

  • A genuine team player. You’ll know how to protect your executives’ time without creating barriers – building positive relationships, communicating well and working collaboratively with colleagues and the wider EA team.
  • Organised, responsive and calm under pressure, you’ll have a naturally proactive, can-do approach and be someone who sees what needs doing and gets on with it.
