Executive Assistant
West End, London | Circa £285 per day including holiday pay | Temporary until the end of December | 4 Days in the Office
We’re partnering with a leading global investment management firm to appoint an experienced Executive Assistant to join a high-performing, client-facing investment team.
Supporting a highly regarded senior industry leader alongside four senior investment professionals, this is a busy and high-exposure role requiring an EA who can quickly establish credibility, understand priorities and become a trusted part of the team.
You’ll be working closely with investment professionals whose schedules are driven by clients, markets and international activity, so plans can change quickly. They need someone who is comfortable operating at pace, exercises good judgement and takes ownership of keeping everything moving seamlessly.
The assignment will initially run until the end of December. There is potential for the position to become permanent, although this cannot be guaranteed, so we’re particularly interested in candidates who are available immediately or at short notice.
The Role
- Provide high-level Executive Assistant support to a senior industry leader and four senior investment professionals.
- Manage complex and constantly changing diaries across multiple time zones, confidently prioritising and resolving clashes.
- Coordinate extensive international travel, including flights, accommodation, visas, transfers and detailed itineraries.
- Organise a high volume of internal, external and client meetings.
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and senior stakeholders across the wider business.
- Prepare meeting materials, presentations, briefing documents and supporting information.
- Coordinate conference attendance, client events and associated travel and meeting schedules.
- Maintain accurate client and contact information within the firm’s CRM system.
- Process expenses and invoices accurately and efficiently.
- Support the onboarding of new joiners and wider team initiatives.
- Work collaboratively with the broader Executive Assistant team, providing support and cover where required.
- Anticipate requirements and proactively resolve issues before they impact the team.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
