Executive Assistant to the Chief People Officer
Shape the Future with Trinzic
As part of an exciting period of transformation, KBR's Defence, Government and Technology Solutions business will become Trinzic following the planned spin-off in January 2027, creating a unique opportunity to help shape the future of a newly independent organisation.
We are looking for a highly organised, proactive and people-focused Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to our Chief People Officer (CPO). This role provides the opportunity to work at the heart of the People function, partnering closely with senior leaders and contributing to initiatives that influence culture, engagement, organisational effectiveness and employee experience across the business.
As a trusted partner to the CPO, you will play a pivotal role in enabling the success of the People leadership team during a significant period of change and growth. You will be involved in a broad range of activities, gaining exposure to strategic people priorities, leadership forums, employee initiatives, communications and business transformation programmes.
This role is ideally suited to someone who is passionate about people, culture and organisational success, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and thrives on building strong relationships across all levels of an organisation.
Working closely with colleagues across the UK and the United States, you will help ensure the smooth operation of the CPO's office while supporting the delivery of a people agenda that will help shape the future of Trinzic.
Working Pattern
This is a full-time permanent position (40 hours per week). Applications from candidates seeking a 4-day working pattern (32 hours per week) will also be considered.
Due to the global nature of the role and regular engagement with US-based stakeholders, a degree of flexibility in working hours will be required to support meetings and key business activities across different time zones. In return, we are committed to adopting a flexible and pragmatic approach to working arrangements.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
