Executive Assistant – Commercial Finance London | Hybrid (3 days in the office) | £35,000 - 38,000

We're recruiting on behalf of a highly respected organisation within the UK financial services sector for an ambitious Executive Assistant to join their Commercial Finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for a Team Assistant, Team Coordinator or Administrator looking to develop into a broader Executive Assistant role, working closely with senior leaders whilst gaining exposure to a fascinating area of financial services.
The Role
Supporting the Principal and wider Commercial Finance team, you'll play a key role in ensuring the smooth running of the department. This is a varied position offering exposure to senior stakeholders, governance activities, event coordination and day-to-day Executive Assistant support.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing busy diaries and coordinating schedules.
- Organising virtual and face-to-face meetings, preparing agendas and coordinating briefing papers.
- Taking minutes, tracking actions and ensuring follow-up where required.
- Booking UK and international travel, accommodation and processing expenses.
- Providing administrative support across the wider team, maintaining filing systems and internal databases.
- Raising purchase orders and processing supplier invoices.
- Supporting communications with members and external stakeholders.
- Assisting with the planning and delivery of meetings and events.
- Providing cover for Executive Assistants across the wider business when required.
- Maintaining the highest levels of professionalism and confidentiality.

About You
This role would suit someone who is organised, proactive and looking to build a long-term career as an Executive Assistant.
You'll bring:
- Previous experience in a Team Assistant, Team Coordinator, Executive Assistant or administrative support role.
- Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail.
- The ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment.
- Strong communication skills and confidence working with a range of stakeholders.
- A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership.
- Good Microsoft 365 skills.
- A collaborative approach and the flexibility to support a busy team.
