Senior Executive Assistant
Wise May are looking for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to support an Executive Director within the Risk & Compliance team of a leading Financial Services organisation. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and proactive EA who is experienced in supporting at Executive level and thrives in a fast-paced, high-pressure and constantly changing environment. You will provide dedicated support to a highly senior Executive Director, managing a complex and demanding diary while acting as a trusted partner and ensuring they are fully prepared for meetings, travel and key commitments.
This is a full-time, initial 6 months FTC, working the hours of 8:30am - 5:30pm.
Executive Assistant Duties
- Providing high-level EA support to an Executive Director within Risk & Compliance.
- Managing a complex and constantly changing diary, proactively prioritising commitments and protecting the Executive's time.
- Coordinating internal and external meetings, including arranging meeting rooms and managing logistics.
- Extensive international travel management, including planning detailed itineraries and liaising with the company's travel agent.
- Preparing briefing materials ahead of meetings and international travel, researching stakeholders and gathering relevant information from across the business.
- Managing expenses and other day-to-day administrative requirements.
- Coordinating visitors and liaising with reception and internal teams.
- Preparing meeting agendas, taking minutes and following up on actions where required.
- Managing Teams meetings and other virtual meeting requirements.
- Working closely with senior stakeholders across the business and maintaining strong professional relationships.
- Supporting the Executive during a period of departmental transformation and restructure.
- Using technology and AI tools to improve organisation, efficiency and day-to-day support.

Executive Assistant Experience Required

- Strong Senior EA experience supporting an Executive Director or equivalent senior leader.
- Essential Financial Services experience within a regulated and corporate environment.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent and complex diary management experience.
- Strong international travel management experience.
- Confident working with senior stakeholders and able to communicate effectively at all levels.
- Excellent attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities.
- Strong Microsoft Office and Teams skills.
- Comfortable using AI and technology to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
- Discreet, professional and confident in handling sensitive and confidential information.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
