🚀 We’re on a mission to make money work for everyone. We’re waving goodbye to the complicated and confusing ways of traditional banking. After starting as a prepaid card, our product offering has grown a lot in the last 10 years in the UK. As well as personal and business bank accounts, we offer joint accounts, accounts for 16-17 year olds, a free kids account and credit cards in the UK, with more exciting things to come beyond. Our UK customers can also save, invest and combine their pensions with us. With our hot coral cards and get-paid-early feature, combined with financial education on social media and our award-winning customer service, we have a long history of creating magical moments for our customers! We’re not about selling products - we want to solve problems and change lives through Monzo ❤️

📍 London (Hybrid) | 💰£60,000 - £64,000 (based on experience level) + Incentive Awards tied to your performance + Benefits ✨

At Monzo, our Executive Assistants are much more than traditional administrative support - they are the glue holding everything together!

Due to internal moves, and a growing team, we have two roles available within the Technology area of Monzo.

Role one: Supporting our CTO, Matej Pfajfar and VP of Product Engineering, Steve Martin.

Role two: Supporting our VP of Platform Engineering, Tom Leitch and incoming General Manager of Fincrime.

🔴 Both roles will work closely with Engineering and the Technology areas of Monzo, and you will partner with a team of EAs already in Tech, and across Monzo. For these two roles we are only considering candidates working, or who have worked, within Engineering or wider Technology teams and Leaders and who are looking for their next career move.

We see our EAs as strategic business partners to senior leaders, helping them and their teams operate at their best. You'll be deeply embedded within leadership teams, driving organisational effectiveness, improving communication and helping leaders navigate the complexity that comes with scaling one of the UK's most ambitious Fintechs.

This is a role for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments, enjoys solving problems, loves bringing order to ambiguity and is excited by the opportunity to have a genuine impact on how teams and leaders operate.

‼️ Please note - This is not an entry-level role. We are only able to consider candidates with previous Executive Assistant experience supporting senior leaders in Technology and Engineering teams. Our EAs operate as strategic business partners in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, so we're looking for someone who can hit the ground running from day one.

🔑 You'll play a key role by...

Acting as a strategic partner to your leader:

  • You'll develop a deep understanding of your leaders' priorities, challenges and goals, helping them stay focused on the work that matters most. You'll anticipate needs, identify opportunities to improve effectiveness, challenge where appropriate and act as a trusted extension of the leaders you support.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
