About Mazal Capital
Mazal Capital is a family office that invests in entrepreneurship through acquisition in the United States and internationally. We invest across traditional and self-funded search, rollups, and long-term holds, and have invested in over 40 platforms and 35 search funds in the past three years.
We are a lean team running a fast-paced, high-volume investment practice: an active pipeline of live opportunities, a full daily schedule of calls with co-investors, searchers, portfolio company executives, and sellers, and frequent domestic and international travel.
The Role
The Executive Assistant will work directly with our Founder, who leads the firm's investment activity, senior relationships, and final investment decisions. The ideal candidate brings experience supporting a principal in an investment or financial services setting, exceptional communication skills, meticulous attention to detail, and the judgment to act independently with sensitive information and important relationships.
You will sit at the center of everything the firm does: every deal, every relationship, and every trip runs through the calendar and inbox you manage. For the right person, this role grows with the firm, with a path toward broader operations over time.
This is a fully remote, virtual position working United States Eastern Time hours.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
