About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to a Managing Director within our London office. This is a unique opportunity for a highly organised and commercially minded professional to work at the heart of a fast-paced international broking business.
Whilst the role encompasses traditional Executive Assistant responsibilities, we are particularly interested in candidates who bring practical experience from the London Insurance Market. The successful individual will be expected to support operational priorities where required, making prior knowledge of reinsurance placement processes, broking procedures, and market operations highly advantageous.
This role would suit an experienced Executive Assistant with insurance market exposure, or an individual from an operations, broking support, underwriting support, or placement administration background looking to take on a broader, highly visible role supporting senior leadership.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
