The Role
This is a practical, trusted role at the centre of a fast-moving organisation. The postholder will provide high-quality executive support to NSP’s Co-Founder Catherine, helping her manage a complex diary, inbox, meetings, commitments and follow-up. They will also support the wider NSP team with meeting and event organisation, coordination and logistics. The role would suit someone who is highly organised, calm, comfortable working with senior people, and able to exercise judgement.
Time commitment: 10-15 hours a week
Location: Fully remote (applicants must be UK-based)
Start date: As soon as possible
Responsibilities
Executive support to Co-Founder
Provide high-quality day-to-day support to the Co-Founder, with a particular focus on protecting and managing their time effectively. This will include:
- managing the diary, balancing internal priorities, external engagements, travel and protected working time;
- triaging meeting requests and invitations, exercising judgement about what requires the Co-Founder’s involvement and what should be redirected or declined;
- supporting management of the inbox, identifying priority correspondence, actions and decisions;
- coordinating meetings and ensuring the Co-Founder has the right papers, briefing and practical information in advance;
- maintaining a clear view of commitments, follow-up actions and outstanding decisions;
- coordinating travel and other practical arrangements where required.

Coordination and administration
Ensure that meetings, actions and external engagements are properly organised and followed through across the wider team. This will include:
- scheduling meetings with partners, advisers, funders and other external stakeholders;
- coordinating agendas, papers, actions and follow-up;
- ensuring actions and commitments are captured in the appropriate team systems and progressed by the relevant owner;
- coordinating practical arrangements for NSP-hosted and partner events, including dinners, roundtables and briefings;
- maintaining the central engagement calendar and events pipeline, including agreed attendance, ownership and next steps;
- providing proportionate administrative support across the team.

What we’re looking for
- strong experience supporting a senior leader in a demanding environment;
- excellent diary, inbox and meeting management skills;
- very strong organisation and attention to detail;
- sound judgement, including when to act, escalate, redirect or say no;
- discretion in handling sensitive information;
- confidence dealing with senior stakeholders and external organisations;
- clear written communication and a professional, personable manner;
- the ability to manage competing priorities and follow actions through.
