Sales Support Assistant & Office Manager
What you’ll do:
This role has 2 primary accountabilities:
- As Sales Support Assistant, provide support to the UK & Ireland (UKI) country sales leader, VP Sales North Zone, and the North Zone leadership team.
- As Office Manager, oversee operational responsibilities for the Slough office, supporting the nominated site leader and Cluster Sales Leader UKI.
Working closely with the office-based team, field sales organisation, customers, business units, and central teams—when required—the key activities/accountabilities include:
Executive Assistant Duties
- Preparing meeting packs and arranging on-site and off-site meetings for the zone leadership team
- Collating data from internal/external sources for management information; formatting reports in O365, SAP, etc.
- Organising internal & external zone events, including:
- Sourcing venues
- Booking meeting rooms
- Arranging travel
- Coordinating catering
- Attending meetings as required to manage actions/minutes
- Conducting general administrative tasks, including:
- Travel arrangements for zone and cluster sales leaders
- Schedule coordination
- Liaising with customers for meetings and event arrangements
- Coordinating legal requirements for document signatures and notary duties—for both the North Zone leadership team and the registered office

Office Manager Duties
- Serve as the focal point for in-office contact in Slough, supporting all CSO functions/teams as needed
- Manage inbound calls, re-directing them appropriately and distributing messages efficiently
- Handle daily postal, parcel, courier deliveries & collections
- Support office operational needs, including:
- Stationery supply management
- Welfare coordination
- Catering logistics
- Meeting rooms, AV equipment, and office equipment maintenance
- Process orders via systems like Ariba & Candex, alongside booking-in and invoice approvals
- Facilitate self-service meetings, as required
- Maintain databases for:
- Employee and visitor parking permits (leasing coordination)
- Access fobs for employees/visitors, contractors, and external parties
- Ensure timely renewal of licences (e.g. TV & MPL)
- Report and coordinate facility issues proactively
- Conduct monthly:
- Emergency Light (EL) tests
- Meter readings
- Tap temperature tests
- Maintain the UKI Sales Org SharePoint
- Coordinate/support engagement groups, such as:
- Inclusion & diversity
- Social clubs
- Community initiatives
- Sustainability & charity efforts
- Attend Slough/S&M meetings as required
- Serve as UK Administrator for AMEX and manage the BTA account, including:
- Issuing
- Reconciling
- Monthly statement coding
- Act as Travel Coordinator (adhering to defined roles & responsibilities)
- Coordinate mobile phones in the UK (focused on approvals & escalations)
- Handle other ad-hoc administrative tasks to ensure smooth operation of:
- UKI sales org
- Eaton UK entities
- Registered office

Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Outlook) with advanced SAP knowledge
- Strong organisational skills, including:
- Prioritisation & multi-tasking
- Efficient standardise workflow execution
- Ability to handle ad hoc tasks
- Exceptional teamwork, with:
- Excellent inter-personal skills
- Strong relationship-building capabilities
- Must exhibit a positive, can-do, flexible attitude
- High level of trustworthiness essential (due to leadership-support function)
