About The Role
This is a great opportunity to join us as an Executive Assistant, you will provide a wide range of administrative and analytical support to the Chief Executive of Connect Plus, the Board and SLT members.
What you'll be doing
- Devise and maintain efficient office administration processes to ensure a smooth and efficient service is delivered to the CEO and SLT members.
- Assist COO with governance issues to do with the Connect Plus Chair and Board members. Assisting Chair with ad hoc meetings with Connect Plus CEO and SLT.
- Attendance at Connect Plus Directors and Board Meetings, taking minutes, coordinating and issuing board reports to attendees for the board meetings along with issuing minutes and agendas.
- Undertake multi diary management and plan schedules in diaries to optimise the working day of the CEO and Senior Leadership Team members.
- Organise and produce complex (confidential) papers, presentations, and reports for Connect Plus SLT meetings.
- Liaise with EA’s and Senior Business Support staff with our client National Highways and Connect Plus Services and Connect Plus to ensure the Business meeting rhythm is coordinated and maintained.
- Screen incoming mail, telephone calls, emails and messages and manage responses directly on behalf of the CEO and SLT, as required.
- Arrange and attend senior leadership team meetings, team days, events and conferences as required, to collate action logs, chase updates and ensure appropriate facilities are organised.
- Book UK travel and accommodation for the team as required.
- Prepare and track personal expenses and other ancillary expenditure.
- Maintain accurate and secure paper based/electronic filing systems, including archiving as required.
- Maintain full confidentiality of sensitive and confidential business issues.
- Support the work of other team members across the business during periods of absence and high volumes of work activity.
- Perform ad hoc confidential project work as required.
- Collate and review internal presentation document.
- Run ad hoc reports and undertake data analysis.

Who we're looking for
- Skilled user of SharePoint and Microsoft packages including PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- Previous experience of providing EA/PA support to a CEO, Managing Director, and Senior Team.
- Highly organised and able to work on own initiative with limited supervision.
- Discreet, confidential, and able to handle issues with great sensitivity.
- Ability to engage and build effective relationships with the client, peers, and the team.
- Strong communication and influencing skills.
- Demonstrable ability to prioritise and manage conflicting priorities during busy periods.
- Being able to demonstrate a logical, proactive approach.
- Possesses a high degree of attention to detail.
- Proven ability to work well under pressure and to tight timescales.

Connect Plus Services (CPS) brings together the collective strength of our parent companies - Balfour Beatty, Atkins and Egis Road Operation UK. With around 600 people, based at eight locations across the M25 network, we work on behalf of Connect Plus and National Highways to manage the operation of the M25 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, from routine maintenance to managing the whole-life requirement of thousands of assets across the network.
