Executive Assistant (EA) to Chair

Location

Tring, Hertfordshire

Hours

Full-time, 5 Days per Week (Office-Based in Tring)

Rate

Competitive basic depending on experience + benefits

The Opportunity

An exceptional opportunity has arisen for an experienced, highly organised and proactive Executive Assistant to support business owner across both private and business affairs. We are looking for flexibility across all areas and the role will initially have a lot of office and IT organisation that is required.

This is a fast-paced, varied role requiring absolute discretion, exceptional attention to detail and the ability to anticipate needs before they arise. Working from the office in Buckinghamshire, you will become a trusted right hand, ensuring both business operations and personal commitments run seamlessly.

This position would suit a polished EA who thrives in a demanding, ever-changing environment.

Key Responsibilities

Business Support

  • Complex diary and calendar management across multiple venues and events.
  • Coordinating meetings, appointments and business engagements.
  • Managing email correspondence and prioritising communications.
  • Organising domestic and international travel, including detailed itineraries.
  • Liaising with senior executives, advisers and business partners.
  • Monitoring action points and ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Assisting with projects and business administration as required.

Private EA Support

  • Managing personal diaries and family schedules.
  • Coordinating appointments, events and social engagements.
  • Booking restaurants, entertainment and personal travel.
  • Managing personal administrative tasks.
  • Handling confidential correspondence and sensitive information.
  • Running personal projects and ad hoc requests with efficiency and discretion.
  • Acting as a trusted gatekeeper and problem solver.

About You

You will be an experienced Executive Assistant who is confident supporting a high-profile individual with both business and private affairs.

You will demonstrate:

  • Previous experience supporting a CEO, Founder or Principal.
  • Outstanding organisational and prioritisation skills.
  • The ability to remain calm under pressure while managing multiple competing priorities.
  • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Absolute discretion and integrity when handling confidential matters.
  • A proactive, solutions-focused approach with the ability to anticipate needs.
  • Strong IT skills, including Microsoft Office and diary management systems.
  • Flexibility, adaptability and a "no task too small" attitude.
  • Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to delivering excellence.

Essential Experience

  • Significant experience in an Executive Assistant, managing complex travel, diaries and logistics.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-moving, entrepreneurial environment.
