Executive Assistant to the CEO
Full-time · UK · Fully remote · £40,000–£50,000
Why we need you
JH is an ecommerce agency that helps ambitious retailers get to number one or stay there. Behind that work sits a team who deserve a business that runs beautifully around them.
That is where you come in. At an agency, Executive Assistant means all-encompassing. You look after our CEO, keep the whole operation moving, become the person everyone turns to, and see more of JH than anyone else. It is the best seat in the business for learning how a business really works.
Our CEO once said there is no point in making the money we do unless we get to create some memories. That belief sits at the heart of this role. You give our CEO more of his time back, and you make sure our team are looked after in their own lives too.
This role is great for someone who
- Brings a sense of humour and kindness to every conversation.
- Wants to learn about a lot of things and dive into all of them.
- Has been told they are a spreadsheet nerd.
- Is highly organised, spots something misorganised and wants to fix it straight away.
- Reminds a team how great they truly are whenever they have a moment of doubt.
- Wants to make an impact on everybody they meet.
- Believes the point of success is the memories it lets you create.
- Loves a week where every day looks different.
What you'll do
- Be our CEO's right hand: diary, inbox, travel, projects and keeping everything moving.
- Keep the business beautifully organised: contracts, the handbook, onboarding (including the systems behind it) and suppliers.
- Look after our people: be the friendly first port of call, celebrate wins, send the surprises and organise the things the team looks forward to.
- Turn occasions into memories: every birthday, milestone and win gets marked, and the big ones get turned up to 11.
- Keep the rhythm: quarterly conversations, 1:1s, pay reviews, working groups and the numbers that show how we are doing.
- Spot what could be better, then make it better.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
