Executive Assistant to the Chief Executive Officer
Job Details
- Hours: 30 - 37.5 hours per week
- Salary: £36,000 - £40,000 DOE
- Location: Hospice-based with occasional homeworking
- Closing Date: 11-10-2026
About the Role
This is a key role supporting the CEO, Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team, helping to strengthen governance administration, coordinate organisational priorities and ensure effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality executive and administrative support to the CEO, Board of Trustees and Senior Management Team.
- Coordinate meetings, agendas, actions, reporting requirements and key communications across the Hospice.
- Work closely with the CEO and Senior Management Team to help coordinate organisational priorities and strategic activities, supporting effective decision-making, cross-departmental communication and the delivery of high-quality care for patients with life-limiting illness and those approaching the end of life.

Requirements
The successful candidate will be a pivotal member of the team and a trusted point of contact for internal and external stakeholders. They will have experience of working with boards and executive teams and must be willing to, on occasions, support events out of normal working hours.
