Exciting Opportunity: Executive Assistant to the College Principal

Role Overview
As the Executive Assistant to the College Principal, you will play a pivotal role at the heart of a dynamic and forward-thinking college group. This role is specifically designed to provide dedicated high-level executive support to the Principal of Strode College ensuring the effective management of their priorities, commitments and strategic objectives. In addition, you will have responsibility for leadership of Curriculum Administration and Reception Services, ensuring that key operational, administrative and front of house functions are delivered to a consistently high standard.
Key Responsibilities
- Acting as a trusted professional partner, provide confidential and proactive executive support, enabling the effective management of strategic priorities, stakeholder relationships and day to day operations.
- Anticipate the Principal’s requirements, facilitate the smooth operation of the Principal’s office, and ensure that matters are progressed efficiently and effectively on their behalf.
- Serve as a key point of coordination between the Principal, Senior Leadership Team and administrative services, supporting the smooth and effective operation of the College.
- Lead and coordinate Curriculum Administration Services and provide direct line management of the Senior Administrator and Reception Team.
- Ensure these services are efficient, customer-focused, resilient and aligned with College and UCS College Group priorities, driving continuous improvement, service excellence and effective resource planning.
- Work collaboratively across the UCS College Group to promote consistency, share best practice and support the delivery of high-quality services that contribute to an outstanding experience for students, staff, visitors and stakeholders.

Key Skills and Qualities
- Demonstrate the values, ethos and principles of the College and wider UCS College Group at all times.
- Significant interaction with colleagues, students, governors, external partners and stakeholders, demanding exceptional interpersonal skills, professionalism, diplomacy, tact and absolute confidentiality.
- Ability to lead services, manage competing priorities and build effective working relationships at all levels is essential to success in this role.
