Julian Harris Adviser Network Limited is an FCA authorised network supporting independent financial advisers and mortgage advisers across the UK. Our member firms advise on pensions, investments, mortgages and protection. Our head office team is small, remote and works closely together.

The role

You will work alongside our four directors, helping them run the business day to day. You will sit at the centre of the firm’s information flow, decide what reaches the directors and when, act on much of it yourself, and keep their priorities moving.

The work is a mix of the predictable and the unforeseen. You will need to pick up unfamiliar subjects quickly, form a view and act on it without waiting to be told how.

What you will do

• Own a high volume shared inbox, deciding what needs director attention, responding directly on their behalf where appropriate and making sure nothing is missed.
• Prepare agendas and papers for management and board meetings, then track the actions arising and chase them to completion.
• Draft correspondence, reports and internal documents to a standard that needs little editing.
• Support the administration of director led projects, maintaining trackers and pulling together input from across the business.
• Act as a point of contact for member firms, providers, professional advisers and suppliers.
• Keep records accurate within SharePoint and our internal systems, working within the firm’s regulatory and data protection obligations
