The Role

We are hiring an Executive Assistant to the Founders to own the calendars, correspondence, travel, and follow-through of our two co-founders.

Pairs is where founders come to raise capital. We pair them with the right investors from a large, engaged global investor network, then our agents manage the relationships that turn into meetings. It is a two-sided platform, live with paying clients, profitable and self-funded, built by a small, senior, flat team that ships fast.

The two co-founders carry the work that decides this company: product, clients, the investor network, the brand. Their time is the scarcest resource in the business, and protecting it will be your mandate. You manage both calendars across time zones, own both inboxes, plan and oversee travel, prepare the founders for the meetings that matter, and ensure every commitment they make is kept. This is a position of ownership, not a list of tasks. You exercise judgment, act independently, and involve the founders only when a decision genuinely requires them. You work AI-first, like the rest of the company: tooling carries the mechanical work, and your time goes to judgment, anticipation, and trust. You report directly to both co-founders and hold one of the most trusted positions in the company.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What You Will Own

  • Both calendars across time zones: scheduling, conflicts resolved before they surface, preparation time protected, and our Monday and Thursday meeting rhythm maintained.
  • Both inboxes: triaged daily, replies drafted in each founder's voice, nothing important left waiting.
  • Travel end to end: planned, booked, briefed, and resolved in real time when plans change.
  • Meeting preparation and follow-through: the right briefing beforehand, actions captured and pursued afterward.
  • The commitment layer: what the founders have promised, to whom, by when, tracked to completion.
  • The systems behind it all, built on the best AI tooling, so mechanical work never requires attention twice.

You Are a Fit If You

  • Have supported a founder or C-level executive at a fast-moving company, and can describe what never required their attention because of you.
  • Have managed calendars across three or more time zones and understand the craft: buffers, batching, protected working time, and declining requests on someone else's behalf with grace.
  • Write well enough to draft in another person's voice, and judge well enough to know what can be sent without asking.
  • Have owned travel end to end, including disruptions resolved before the principal ever felt them.
  • Can support two principals at once: competing priorities held, both agendas moving, neither founder resolving minor conflicts.
  • Treat discretion as a reflex: names, transactions, and conversations remain confidential, always.
  • Build systems rather than task lists: standing rhythms, documented processes, and automation that outlasts your busiest week.
  • Operate with modern tooling: AI runs your scheduling, briefings, and follow-ups, so your time goes to judgment rather than administration.

What We Offer

Fully remote. This position operates in real time across the founders' working day rather than asynchronously. Meetings across the company batch on Mondays and Thursdays, and you are the one who maintains that rhythm. The best AI tooling, paid (Claude Code, Cursor, top models). Direct trust from both co-founders, full visibility into the company, and a position that grows as the company does.

How to Apply

Hit apply, which takes you to our short application form. We read every application. Please do not include the names of former principals or any of their confidential matters; we evaluate how you work, not who you have worked for.
