Executive Assistant

Sarum Hall School is seeking an exceptional Executive Assistant to provide high-level support to the Headmistress and play a key role in the smooth running of our thriving, independent preparatory school for girls aged 3–11.

This is a varied and rewarding position at the heart of school life. You will manage the Headmistress’s diary, correspondence, meetings, travel arrangements and administrative priorities, while also supporting admissions, recruitment activities and key school events. As the first point of contact for many parents, visitors and stakeholders, you will be an ambassador for the School, demonstrating professionalism, warmth and discretion at all times.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Headmistress’s diary, correspondence, meetings, travel arrangements and administrative priorities
  • Support admissions, recruitment activities and key school events
  • Act as the first point of contact for parents, visitors and stakeholders
  • Demonstrate professionalism, warmth and discretion

Requirements

  • Highly organised, proactive and adaptable
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a busy environment
  • Experience of diary management
  • Senior-level administrative support
  • Strong IT skills, particularly Outlook
  • Previous experience working within a school environment would be advantageous
  • Experience of OpenApply would be a significant bonus
