Executive Assistant – Investment Banking
West End, London | £70,000–£75,000 + Bonus & Benefits | 4 Days in the Office
We are partnering with a fast-growing global investment bank to appoint an experienced Executive Assistant to support a newly established front-office deal team in London.
This is a brilliant opportunity to join the team at an early stage of its growth. Initially supporting a Senior Managing Director, Managing Director and Vice President, you’ll work closely with senior investment professionals in a fast-paced, client-facing environment, with the wider team expected to grow to around eight people.
You’ll join an established and collaborative EA function where assistants are trusted to take ownership, anticipate priorities and operate as genuine business partners. The role will suit an EA who enjoys being close to the business, building strong relationships with senior stakeholders and staying one step ahead in a constantly moving environment.
The Role
- Provide high-level EA support to a Senior Managing Director, Managing Director and Vice President, alongside wider support as the team grows.
- Manage complex and frequently changing diaries across multiple international time zones.
- Coordinate extensive UK and international travel, including detailed itineraries, visas and end-to-end logistics.
- Organise client meetings, internal meetings, conference calls and video conferences.
- Anticipate priorities, resolve diary conflicts and ensure senior stakeholders are fully prepared for meetings and travel.
- Prepare meeting materials, itineraries and briefing information.
- Process expenses accurately and efficiently.
- Build strong relationships with clients, colleagues and EAs across the wider business.
- Support the onboarding of new team members as the London team expands.
- Assist with team events, off-sites and wider team initiatives.
- Work closely with the wider EA team to provide seamless support and cover where required.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
