About Grayling UK
Grayling is one of the UK’s most connected communications agencies, helping brands, businesses and organisations navigate complexity, shape conversations and make a meaningful impact through smart thinking, cultural insight and creative ideas.
Our people are in equal parts exceptional professionals and wonderful human beings. We've been recognised as one of The Times and Sunday Times Best Places to Work 2026, reflecting the culture our people have built together across Grayling. It’s a culture grounded in trust, transparency, ambition and care, where talented people are empowered to do exceptional work while building meaningful careers.
We’re looking for someone who will enjoy being at the heart of a busy, collaborative business, working closely with senior leaders and colleagues across Grayling and the wider Accordience group. If you’re highly organised, proactive, comfortable juggling competing priorities and enjoy building great relationships, you’ve come to the right place.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to join Grayling on a 9-month maternity cover contract, working part-time across four days a week.
Working closely with the Group CEO of Accordience and Global CEO of Grayling, as well as the UK CEO of Grayling, you’ll play a key role in keeping busy schedules, meetings and priorities running smoothly. This is a varied, fast-paced role with plenty of opportunity to work with senior stakeholders and colleagues across our UK and international teams.
You’ll take ownership of complex diary and travel management, coordinate and support Board and Executive meetings, prepare documents and communications, and help ensure day-to-day priorities are managed effectively. You’ll be someone who can anticipate what’s needed, stay one step ahead and adapt quickly when plans change.
We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, proactive and comfortable working autonomously. You’ll have excellent attention to detail, strong communication skills and the confidence to build trusted relationships at all levels of the business. You’ll also regularly work with sensitive and confidential information, so sound judgement and discretion are essential.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
