Executive Assistant to Executive Team
Darley Dale, Derbyshire | 30 hours per week | £32,000–£36,000 pro rata
HJ Enthoven Group is a successful £190m-revenue industrial and recycling business entering an exciting period of transformation and investment following a recent Private Equity acquisition.
We are looking for an experienced Executive Assistant to support the Managing Director, CFO and Executive Chairman, while acting as a central point of coordination across the wider leadership team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced EA who enjoys operating at the heart of a business, supporting senior leaders and bringing structure, pace and organisation to a fast-moving executive environment.
HJ Enthoven Group is entering an exciting period of transformation and investment following its acquisition by new Private Equity owners. As the business moves to a more formal Board and investor reporting rhythm, the Executive Assistant will play a pivotal role in ensuring the Executive Chairman and wider leadership team are well supported, prepared and coordinated.
What you'll be doing
Executive Support
- Support the MD, CFO and Executive Chairman
- Manage complex diaries, travel and meetings
- Prepare briefing notes and act as a key point of contact for the MD's office

Management & Board Meetings
- Own the executive meeting calendar and timetable
- Coordinate and chase inputs from senior stakeholders
- Prepare professional meeting packs and presentations
- Take minutes and manage the actions log through to completion
Reporting & Presentations
- Support Board and investor reporting
- Build and restructure senior-level PowerPoint presentations
- Use Excel to analyse and check data, including formulas, pivots and charts
- Ensure information is accurate and issued on time
Office & Business Support
- Support the smooth running of the head office
- Coordinate customers, auditors, regulators and investor visits
- Support suppliers, facilities, events and senior onboarding
About you
We are looking for an experienced EA or PA who has supported C-suite or senior leadership and is comfortable working in a fast-paced, operational environment.
You'll ideally have:
- Strong experience supporting an MD, CEO, CFO, Chairman or Executive Team
- Experience owning a senior management or Board meeting cycle
- Advanced PowerPoint and strong Excel skills
- Practical experience using AI tools such as Microsoft Copilot or ChatGPT
- Excellent written English and minute-taking skills
- Confidence chasing senior stakeholders and holding people to deadlines
- Excellent organisation, discretion and attention to detail

Experience within manufacturing, industrial, engineering, recycling or another operational environment would be highly advantageous, as would Private Equity or formal Board reporting experience.
The environment
You'll need to be comfortable working in both the boardroom and an operational environment, dealing confidently with senior executives, investors and external stakeholders.
We're looking for someone proactive, commercially curious and calm under pressure, who can anticipate what the leadership team needs rather than waiting to be asked.
