Celestal Precision is a quantitative investment management firm specializing in separately managed account [SMA] FX portfolio management for HNWIs and institutional investors.
We are building Celestal Precision with the vision of becoming a globally recognized quantitative investment management firm, capable of managing significant institutional capital, with a long-term goal of scaling to $50 billion in AUM within 10 years.
Job Objective:
We are currently building the foundations of the firm and seeking highly experienced industry professionals with 20+ years of experience in hedge funds, alternative investments, FX, and related financial markets to become the founding Board Members / Non-Executive Directors of Celestal Precision.
The objective of this role is to provide strategic guidance, industry expertise, governance oversight, and institutional insight as Celestal Precision develops its organizational structure, operational standards, and infrastructure required to transition from a foundational investment firm into a globally recognized hedge fund.

Key Board Responsibilities
- Provide independent strategic guidance to the founding team on long-term business and organizational development through different stages of growth.
- Help establish the strategic priorities required for sustainable institutional growth.
- Advise on appropriate governance structures, institutional policies, controls, and oversight frameworks.
- Provide insight derived from extensive experience across hedge funds and alternative investments.
- Where appropriate, leverage established industry relationships to create relevant introductions.
- Help prepare the firm for the operational, regulatory, governance, and institutional requirements associated with managing substantial capital.
- Provide continuity of strategic guidance as the organization evolves from a foundational level into a larger institutional platform.

Key Qualifications
- 20+ years of senior-level experience in these industries: Hedge Funds, Alternative Investments, Asset Management, Investment Management, Institutional Capital Markets
- FCA or SMF (Senior Management Function) suitability with background in rolling spot FX or FX derivatives under MIFIDPRU rules.
- Demonstrated senior-level experience within the investment management industry.
- Experience operating within or advising hedge funds, alternative investment firms, or institutional investment businesses.
- Strong understanding of hedge fund governance, institutional standards, and investment management operations.
- Demonstrated ability to provide independent strategic advice to senior leadership.
- Established professional reputation within the industry.
- Strong network across relevant institutional and investment management circles [family offices, institutional allocators, hedge funds, prime brokers, or other strategic industry participants].
