About Alacrity
The Alacrity Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation with a big ambition: to create and grow innovative businesses, develop entrepreneurial talent and make a meaningful contribution to the Welsh economy.
Our environment is fast-paced, entrepreneurial and full of ideas. On any given day, you could be surrounded by founders building new technology companies, investors visiting the office, mentors sharing their expertise, an event being planned or a new programme getting ready to launch.
We work hard, move quickly and like people who are happy to get involved. We are now creating a brand-new role for someone who wants to be right at the centre of it.
The Opportunity
We are looking for an organised, creative and enthusiastic Executive & Brand Assistant to support our CEO and work closely with our Brand Manager.
This is an ideal early-career opportunity for someone who wants hands-on experience across executive support, content creation, social media, events, marketing and the startup world. You do not need years of experience - we are looking for potential, personality, initiative and someone who is excited to learn. Because this is a completely new position, you will have the opportunity to grow with it, bring your own ideas and make the role your own.
What you'll be doing
Reasons to use Rodeo
I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
