The Executive Business Partner (EBP)

The Executive Business Partner (EBP) is a high impact role designed to amplify the effectiveness of Foundry’s Executive Leadership Team (ELT). Reporting directly to the CEO, this individual acts as a partner, ensuring the ELT operates with maximum velocity and alignment in a fast-moving, technically-led business.

We’re looking for an exceptionally organized, proactive, and commercially aware operator. This is not a traditional administrative role, and it requires someone who thinks strategically, moves quickly, and thrives in ambiguity.

You’ll be embedded at the center of some of our most critical business processes. You will bridge the gap between high-level strategy and tactical execution, ensuring that our leadership team remains focused on Foundry’s most critical growth initiatives. The right person takes ownership end-to-end, and succeeds in creating an environment for the individuals they support to work in a much more effective manner.

Key Responsibilities

  • Acts as the primary partner to the ELT, ensuring the leadership team’s time is aligned with Foundry’s goals and optimized to drive strategic initiatives forward.
  • Owns the ELT operating cadence, including the scheduling of weekly ELT meetings, fortnightly SLT meetings, monthly All Hands Meetings, Quarterly Business Review cycle and leadership offsite meetings.
  • Maintains a single source of truth on company objectives and critical strategic initiatives to provide ongoing visibility for the ELT.
  • Synthesizes ELT inputs to ensure the operating cycle results in documented insights and actionable plans with clear scope, owners and timelines to enable greater accountability across the business.
  • Leads the preparation and execution of monthly All-Hands meetings, ensuring that Foundry’s vision, values, and updates are communicated effectively to the global organization and information flows seamlessly between the ELT and the wider organization to reduce silos and increase transparency.
  • Drives continuous improvement across business processes, identifying operational bottlenecks to ensure timeline follow through on strategic initiatives; implements changes to increase pace and efficiency.
  • Owns the complex day-to-day calendar management for the ELT, proactively resolving scheduling conflicts across internal, customer, industry partner and Board meetings.
  • Builds effective meeting rhythms across the leadership team, protecting focus time for deep work.
  • Runs separate weekly check-ins with each Executive to stay aligned on priorities and context.
  • Prepares meeting agendas and briefs ahead of key engagements and oversees meeting recording logistics, recording and distributing meeting minutes and action plans.
  • Coordinates the physical and remote requirements for ELT and SLT meetings, including room bookings, catering for London-based sessions, and setup for on-site and remote Board participants.
  • Manages end-to-end travel arrangements for ELT, including international flight bookings, visa requirements, and accommodation.
  • Manages monthly expense reporting for ELT; ensures timely and accurate submissions.
  • Partners with the Office Manager to facilitate administrative support for the ELT.
  • Acts as the strategic proxy during ELT travel or unavailability, ensuring continuity by managing communication flows, triaging critical inquiries, and representing the ELT.
  • Manages key stakeholder relationships, acting as a professional and approachable point of contact for internal teams, customers, industry partners, and our corporate owners.
  • Fosters a professional culture of ownership, modeling Foundry’s values and setting an expectation for excellence across the leadership support structure.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
