Job Summary
W Edinburgh is looking for an exceptional Executive Chef to lead our culinary operation and help shape the next chapter of our food and beverage journey.
Role Overview
Reporting directly to the Director of Operations, this is a senior leadership role with overall responsibility for the hotel’s culinary operation across SUSHISAMBA, W Lounge, João’s Place, In-Room Dining and Meetings & Events.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and inspire a diverse culinary team
- Develop talent
- Drive menu innovation
- Ensure exceptional standards of food quality and consistency across the hotel
- Work closely with the Food & Beverage and wider hotel leadership teams to create concepts and experiences that are relevant, exciting, and unmistakably W
- Have strong commercial awareness
- Take ownership of food cost, productivity, purchasing, and overall kitchen performance
- Understand how to balance exceptional quality with a successful and sustainable business
