Summary of the role
We are seeking a Executive Creative Director to lead our creative vision and drive agency growth through exceptional creative work. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned creative leader, ideally with over 25 years of experience, to shape the creative reputation of our agency, elevate our creative output to world-class standards, and lead multidisciplinary teams in delivering integrated brand solutions that solve complex business problems within healthcare communications. You will be responsible for:
- Steering our creative excellence
- Building our reputation on the global stage
- Leading major pitches that drive business growth
Please note that this role is based in Manchester, and our current hybrid working arrangement requires office attendance on Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays.

What you can expect to be doing:
- Leading and inspiring multidisciplinary creative teams to deliver world-class creative work that elevates the agency's creative reputation to regional and global top-tier rankings
- Driving the development of big ideas that integrate brand storytelling, innovation, technology, and creative commerce to solve complex healthcare business challenges
- Steering the agency's creative vision and ensuring all work meets the highest standards of healthcare advertising creativity and compliance
- Leading major global and regional pitches, working collaboratively across disciplines to win new business and drive agency growth
- Building modern, integrated brand ecosystems that combine creative excellence with e-commerce strategies and conversion-focused thinking
- Scaling creative operations and capabilities to support agency growth and revenue expansion
- Championing innovation and digital creativity, ensuring the agency remains at the forefront of healthcare communications
- Representing the agency's creative work externally, building industry relationships, and enhancing our reputation within the creative community
This role could be a great fit for you if:
- You have over several years of progressive creative leadership experience across top-tier global networks and agencies, with a proven track record of elevating agency creative reputations
- You have deep expertise in e-commerce and creative commerce, with demonstrated success building integrated brand ecosystems and driving conversion
- You have extensive experience leading and winning major global and regional pitches across international agency networks
- You have documented success scaling agency operations, expanding teams, and significantly increasing revenue through creative excellence
- You hold postgraduate qualifications in Communication, Art, Technology, Design or related creative disciplines
- You are fluent in English with full professional proficiency
- You have served as a juror on premier international advertising festivals such as Cannes Lions, D&AD, London International Awards, or Effie Awards
- You have won multiple major international creative and effectiveness awards including Cannes Lions, LIA, D&AD, The One Show, Clio Awards, or Effie Awards
- You are recognized within the industry as a leading creative voice, such as being named among the Top 25 Influential CCOs by Creativepool for 2026, and have established relationships within the global creative community
- You are passionate about healthcare communications and the opportunity to create work that makes a meaningful difference to people's lives
