We are recruiting an experienced editor to work on high-level CVs, resumes and professional career documents for clients pursuing positions including CEO / Chief Executive Officer, CFO / Chief Financial Officer, COO / Chief Operating Officer, CTO / Chief Technology Officer, Managing Director, Finance Director, Commercial Director, Executive Director, Vice President and other C-suite and senior leadership roles.
This is substantive editorial work rather than basic proofreading. The successful editor will need to understand complex careers, leadership responsibilities, commercial achievements and target appointments, then turn detailed source material into clear, concise and professionally credible career documents.
The Role
Assignments vary considerably. You may restructure the CV of a Managing Director pursuing a CEO appointment, strengthen a Finance Director's resume for a CFO role, edit the career profile of a COO or CTO, or work with a Vice President, Senior Director, General Manager, Country Manager, Regional Director or Head of Function preparing for a larger leadership appointment.

Responsibilities
- Edit and substantially rewrite executive CVs and resumes where required.
- Improve structure, clarity, tone and professional presentation.
- Strengthen the accurate presentation of leadership achievements, responsibilities and commercial impact.
- Work on CEO-, CFO-, COO-, CTO-, Managing Director- and director-level career documents.
- Adapt CVs and resumes for different international markets and conventions.
- Identify vague, repetitive, weak or unsupported wording.
- Research unfamiliar sectors, professional terminology and target-role context where necessary.
- Check chronology, grammar, terminology and factual consistency.
- Preserve the client's authentic professional voice.
- Handle confidential senior-level career information appropriately.
- Deliver polished work to agreed deadlines.
About the clients
Twikz works with senior professionals pursuing Chief Executive Officer, Chief Financial Officer, Chief Operating Officer, Chief Technology Officer, Managing Director, Finance Director, Commercial Director, Executive Director, Vice President, Senior Director and other senior leadership appointments internationally.
The editor therefore needs to be comfortable working with sophisticated business material covering areas such as leadership, strategy, commercial performance, transformation, stakeholder management, international operations and organisational responsibility.

Requirements
- Exceptional written English.
- Professional editing, rewriting, copy-editing or business-writing experience.
- Professional proficiency in English and one other language.
- Excellent grammar, structural judgement and attention to factual detail.
- Ability to understand complex senior professional and executive careers.
- Ability to present achievements persuasively without exaggeration or unsupported claims.
- Strong independent research skills.
- Reliable remote-working and communication skills.
- Discretion when handling confidential client information.
Particularly relevant experience
Experience in executive CV or resume writing, professional editing, career-document writing, executive search, senior recruitment, business communications, leadership communications or high-level professional writing would be particularly valuable.
