About the Role

We are seeking a versatile, dynamic individual to join our small Guildhall team, able to blend high-level governance support with strong customer care and community service.

How You Will Make an Impact

  • Get involved in local democracy: Take ownership of the Council and Committee meeting cycle, coordinating agendas, reports, and minutes with accuracy and precision to ensure local decision-making runs smoothly.
  • Support decision makers – a trusted link supporting both senior staff and elected town councillors.
  • Welcome Your Community: Anchor our front reception desk, bringing warmth and professional flair to a high volume of public enquiries across phones, emails, and face-to-face visits.
