Executive Director - Managed Solutions
Job Type: Permanent

Location: Altrincham/Remote Working
Hours of work: 37 Hours Per Week – Remote Working Available
The Role:
To lead the Managed Solutions division, protecting and growing Rullion's existing client relationships while strengthening commercial performance, service quality, and sustainable NFI growth. Working closely with the Chief Customer Officer and colleagues across Rullion, you will ensure our clients receive an exceptional experience and our teams have the clarity, capability, and confidence to perform at their best.
The role combines senior client engagement, commercial judgement, and operational expertise. You will identify client challenges, translate them into relevant workforce solutions, and create long-term value, while building a stronger and more scalable Managed Solutions operation.

What You'll Do
- Directly own selected strategic accounts while leading the wider Managed Solutions portfolio, ensuring relationships, knowledge, and growth opportunities are actively managed.
- Build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders and act as a credible adviser on workforce challenges, skills, capability, and service improvement.
- Own Managed Solutions performance, including NFI, contribution, margin, forecasting, commercial governance, and the qualified growth pipeline.
- Set clear priorities and create consistent, effective ways of working across the Managed Solutions portfolio.
- Ensure account plans turn retention, growth, client value, service, efficiency, risk, people, and innovation into measurable outcomes.
- Develop Client Service Managers and emerging leaders, strengthening their client leadership, commercial confidence, account management, forecasting, and execution.
- Create an inclusive, accountable, and high-performing culture in which people learn, challenge constructively, and succeed.
- Work with Growth colleagues on major bids, renewals, and implementations, ensuring proposals are operationally credible, commercially sound, and valuable to the client.
- Use client, workforce, market, and performance insight to identify emerging demand and shape relevant propositions, partnerships, and solutions.
- Champion the effective use of data, digital tools, and AI across Managed Solutions, leading by example and building confidence in others.
- Represent Rullion at senior client meetings, industry events, and networks, strengthening our reputation as a workforce solutions partner.

What We Expect of You
- Deliver sustainable growth across existing clients by identifying unmet workforce challenges and expanding the solutions and services they use.
- Achieve agreed Managed Solutions NFI, contribution, margin, and growth targets, supported by accurate forecasting and a strong qualified pipeline.
- Protect and deepen priority client relationships through senior engagement, clear governance, and measurable client value.
- Embed a consistent, high-quality approach to account management and service delivery, taking accountability for fulfilment, service performance, and meeting all commercial commitments.

Experience:
- Evidence of identifying client challenges and converting them into practical solutions and sustainable growth.
- A proven track record of leading and growing major client portfolios or managed workforce solutions, with accountability for P&L and commercial performance.
- Experience and knowledge of critical infrastructure sectors.
- Strong commercial judgement, including experience of margin, contribution, pricing, contractual terms, risk, and governance.
- The credibility and experience to engage senior and executive-level client stakeholders.
- A track record of developing leaders and high-performing teams, including in remote or dispersed environments.
- Confidence using data, technology, and AI-enabled tools to generate insight, improve productivity, and support decision-making.
- Experience of identifying and managing client, commercial, operational, and service delivery risks.
