We are building an integrated Data, Technology & Analytics capability designed to help clients make better decisions through connected data, advanced analytics, and actionable insight.
By combining Acxiom’s data and identity capabilities with Omnicom Media’s planning, activation and analytics expertise, we deliver audience-first strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
This role is dedicated to Mercedes-Benz, supporting the transformation of their first-party data and audience strategy to enable more effective, data-driven marketing and customer engagement.
The Role
The Executive Director, Audience Analytics (Mercedes-Benz) will own the client relationship with the Global Audience client end-to-end, lead the Mercedes-Benz Audience team, and work alongside other global workstream leads, collectively delivering best-in-class service.
You will focus on delivering a global audience-first approach to planning, activation and measurement, working directly with global stakeholders.
This is an excellent opportunity to shape the audience strategy for Mercedes-Benz and driving innovation through a viable test and learn agenda.
This is a delivery-focused leadership role, responsible for ensuring that audience thinking is effectively implemented at the global, regional, and local market levels.

Client Ownership
- Own the primary client relationship for this line of business
- Lead the delivery and revenue generation of the Global scope
- Define growth opportunities for the client

Audience Insight Development
- Lead the development of audience insights and profiling, combining first-party data, Acxiom data and other partner sources
- Lead on the development and delivery of audience blueprints to identify key opportunities for centralised audiences
- Translate complex data outputs into clear narratives and actionable recommendations for planning teams
- Research new audience opportunities across channels and platforms to ensure relevant targeting measures are being leveraged
Audience Strategy Across Workstreams
- Work with global and regional stakeholders to ensure audience strategy is being adopted
- Ensure correct usage of audience blueprints across channels is adapted
- Develop audience frameworks that guide channel planning and investment decisions
- Embed audience-first thinking into global comms planning processes
Audience Innovation
- Lead partnerships workstream to onboard new data partners
- Research and find new opportunities to pilot and showcase new audience capabilities
- Build case studies to outline new partner performance and local market rollout
- Pitch innovative audience opportunities to the global client to grow revenue within the workstream
Team Leadership
- Lead the Mercedes-Benz audience team to ensure global strategy is rolled out to the regional and local market levels
- Build the team’s skillsets across audience and technological capabilities
- Assist with the Mercedes-Benz rollout of the Omni platform (specifically Audience Console)
What You Will Bring
- Strong experience in audience analytics, data strategy, or digital/media analytics roles
- Strong hands-on experience with segmentation, profiling and audience strategy execution
- Working knowledge of first-party data ecosystems, CRM data, CDPs and identity resolution
- Experience leveraging third-party datasets (e.g. Acxiom or similar) in media planning and activation
- Understanding of how audiences are activated across key platforms (programmatic, social, search)
- Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insight for non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (strategy, planning, activation)
- Strong attention to detail with ability to manage delivery and execution quality
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong team leadership skills
