Our opportunity

Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer and working collaboratively alongside the senior leadership team of BAFTA and BAFTA albert, this role is responsible for overseeing and increasing revenues across all aspects of BAFTA, to include; the commercial partnerships; fundraising; BAFTA’s IP and technology exploitation; and BAFTA’s hospitality business, BAFTA 195 Piccadilly. The Executive Director of Commercial will also have responsibility for developing new revenue lines and for monetisation of BAFTA’s content and learning initiatives, where appropriate. The role includes collaboration of commercial activities across BAFTA’s branches (London, Scotland, Wales and North America)

The successful applicant will have excellent strategic and negotiating skills, with a sound knowledge and understanding of the commercial models of content and IP exploitation at both international and domestic levels. The Executive Director of Commercial should have a strong track record of successful involvement with sponsorship, commercial partnerships and or fundraising, a strong understanding of the end-to-end process – from packaging deals to relationship management.
