Full Description
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Governance
- Provide strategic leadership in line with Board direction and organizational priorities
- Support governance through regular reporting, planning and communication
Operations & Compliance
- Oversee daily operations of a multi-program childcare centre
- Ensure compliance with Manitoba childcare regulations, licensing and funding requirements
- Maintain high standards of safety, care and program delivery
People & Culture
- Lead, mentor and support supervisors, educators and administrative staff (50+ staff)
- Foster a collaborative, inclusive and respectful workplace environment

Financial Management
- Develop and manage annual budgets
- Oversee payroll, funding and financial reporting
- Ensure strong financial controls and accountability
Programs & Community
- Support high-quality, play-based programming across all age groups
- Maintain strong relationships with families, community partners and stakeholders
- Represent the organization within the early learning sector
Building & Property
- Research, prepare, and submit grant applications to support capital projects, facility and program enhancements
- Oversee maintenance, safety, and condition of the building and property
- Liaise with school division personnel regarding building maintenance, repairs, concerns and goals
- Identify and prioritize building improvements, capital projects, and facility enhancements
