Location: Chesterfield

Description

SolidCor is on a mission to make volume fire door replacement possible within days — enabling the industry to rapidly achieve compliance and community safety in every building. Born out of the urgent need for change following the Grenfell disaster, we have built the fastest production times in the industry and the widest range of primary-tested fire door configurations. We are growing fast and we are looking for A-players to help us get there.

We are passionate about getting things right and obsessed with quality. Our products are safety-critical — when a fire door fails, the consequences are real. Behind every great operation is a team that keeps everything running smoothly — and that’s where you come in.

We are looking for an Executive & Facilities EA to provide high-quality executive support to our senior leadership team and take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management of our Chesterfield factory. This is a varied, hands-on role that sits at the heart of the business — keeping our leaders organised, our site well-run, and our office functioning at the standard SolidCor demands.

If you are proactive, highly organised, and take pride in doing things properly — this is the role for you.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide comprehensive executive assistant support to the SolidCor leadership team — including diary management, meeting coordination, travel booking, correspondence, and preparation of documents and presentations.
  • Act as the first point of contact for the leadership team, managing communications, screening requests, and ensuring senior leaders can focus on the priorities that matter most.
  • Take ownership of the day-to-day facilities management of the Chesterfield site — including coordinating maintenance, managing supplier relationships, overseeing cleaning and housekeeping standards, and ensuring the site is always well-presented and fit for purpose.
  • Manage office supplies, equipment, and consumables — ensuring the factory office and welfare areas are stocked, organised, and maintained.
  • Coordinate health and safety administration for the site — including maintaining records, booking training, and supporting the management team with H&S compliance.
  • Support the planning and delivery of internal events, company meetings, and visitors to site.
  • Manage incoming and outgoing correspondence, filing, and document management across the leadership team.
  • Support onboarding administration for new starters — ensuring inductions are coordinated and new team members have what they need from day one.
  • Identify and implement improvements to how the office and facilities are run, bringing ideas that raise the standard across the site.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
