Hiddenwell is seeking an experienced and passionate Executive Head Housekeeper to lead our Housekeeping, Laundry, and Spa Cleaning Operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity for an exceptional hospitality professional who takes pride in delivering impeccable standards, developing high-performing teams, and creating outstanding guest experiences within a luxury wellness environment.
As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for ensuring every guest space, wellness facility, and operational area reflects the exceptional standards that define Hiddenwell.
About The Role
Reporting directly to the General Manager, the Executive Head Housekeeper will oversee all aspects of housekeeping, laundry, and spa cleaning operations across the property.
You will lead and inspire a large team, ensuring consistently exceptional cleanliness, presentation, and service standards whilst maintaining operational efficiency, financial performance, and regulatory compliance.
This is a hands-on leadership role requiring strong operational expertise, excellent people management skills, and a passion for delivering luxury hospitality experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Team Development
- Leading, motivating, and developing housekeeping, laundry, and spa cleaning teams
- Creating a positive, supportive, and high-performing working environment
- Recruiting, training, coaching, and developing team members to achieve their full potential
- Conducting regular performance reviews and development conversations
- Ensuring staffing levels are effectively managed in line with business demands
Operational Excellence
- Maintaining exceptional standards throughout guest accommodation, public areas, wellness facilities, treatment rooms, and back-of-house areas
- Overseeing all laundry operations, including quality control, stock management, and distribution
- Ensuring all guest rooms and facilities consistently exceed presentation and cleanliness expectations
- Managing VIP arrivals and special guest requirements
- Conducting regular inspections and quality audits

Guest Experience
- Championing a culture of service excellence
- Monitoring guest feedback and implement improvements where required
- Working collaboratively with all departments to deliver seamless guest experiences
- Ensuring every guest encounter reflects Hiddenwell's commitment to luxury, wellbeing, and personalised service
Financial & Commercial Management
- Managing departmental budgets and labour costs effectively
- Monitoring stock control and purchasing processes
- Identifying opportunities to improve efficiencies and reduce waste
- Supporting sustainability initiatives across the operation
Health, Safety & Compliance
- Ensuring compliance with all health, safety, hygiene, and legislative requirements
- Maintaining high standards of COSHH, manual handling, and safe working practices
- Ensuring departmental policies, procedures, and audits are completed accurately and on time
About You
We are looking for a confident and inspiring leader who brings:
Essential
- Have previous experience as an Executive Head Housekeeper, Head Housekeeper, or Senior Housekeeping Manager within a luxury hotel, resort, spa, or hospitality environment
- Have exceptional leadership and people management skills
- Have proven experience managing large housekeeping teams
- Have excellent organisational and planning abilities
- Have exceptional attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Have experience managing departmental budgets and labour costs
- Have sound knowledge of health and safety, COSHH, and compliance requirements
- Have a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences

Desirable
- Have experience within a luxury wellness retreat, spa resort, or premium hospitality environment
- Have experience overseeing in-house laundry operations
- Have knowledge of sustainability initiatives within housekeeping operations
- Hold hospitality qualifications or relevant professional certifications
Additional Information
- Full-Time position working 5 out of 7 days per week - including weekends and public holidays
- 45 hours per week
- Salary: £45,000 per annum
- Estimated Start Date 01 October 2026
