The Opportunity
As our Executive Head Housekeeper, you'll be the driving force behind the immaculate presentation of our hotel - from our 170 beautifully designed bedrooms to our inviting public spaces. You'll lead, motivate, and inspire a dedicated housekeeping team to deliver flawless standards and unforgettable guest experiences, every single day.
This isn't a role for the faint-hearted. It's for a hands-on leader who loves a challenge, can think fast under pressure, and has the stamina to maintain five-star standards day after day. This is a full-time role (40 hours per week, 5 days over 7) including weekends - ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced, high-end hospitality environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Lead daily housekeeping operations, ensuring every room and public area shines.
- Inspire, coach, and develop your team to perform at their best.
- Conduct detailed inspections to maintain five-star cleanliness and presentation.
- Manage cleaning inventories, budgets, and supplier relationships.
- Collaborate across departments to ensure seamless guest experiences.
- Implement safety and hygiene standards, creating a safe, happy workplace.
- Monitor guest feedback and drive continuous improvement.
- Prepare and oversee daily and periodic deep-cleaning schedules.
What You Bring
- 5+ years of progressive housekeeping experience in a hotel setting, including supervisory or managerial roles.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills.
- A genuine eye for detail and passion for perfection.
- Sound knowledge of cleaning techniques, equipment, and safety regulations.
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and hotel property management systems.
- Flexibility to support operations during evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- A positive, can-do attitude that inspires those around you.
