Executive Leader Commercial Operations
Location: United Kingdom, Switzerland, or Netherlands
A high-growth, global healthcare technology company is seeking an exceptional Executive Leader to play a pivotal role in accelerating growth across EMEA markets.
This is a rare opportunity for a strategic and operational leader to build, scale, and optimise the infrastructure, processes, and capabilities that underpin commercial success across multiple geographies.

Reporting to the Senior Vice President, you will serve as a key member of the leadership team, ensuring that ambitious commercial strategies are translated into operational excellence, outstanding customer experiences, and sustainable business performance.

The Opportunity
In this role, you will be responsible for leading the operational backbone of a complex and rapidly expanding organisation. You will oversee the end-to-end operational ecosystem, from customer order through to delivery and ongoing customer support, ensuring exceptional execution across customer care, supply chain coordination, demand planning, business operations, and continuous improvement.
Working cross-functionally with commercial, marketing, supply chain, operations and market leaders, you will build the frameworks, teams, governance and processes required to support the next phase of expansion.
What You'll Be Doing
Customer Experience & Customer Operations
- Lead and transform customer care and customer success functions.
- Deliver a world-class customer experience across all markets.
- Oversee outsourced customer support partners and service providers.
- Define and monitor service-level standards and operational performance metrics.
- Manage complex customer escalations and drive effective resolution.
- Establish customer experience measurement programmes and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Drive customer satisfaction, loyalty and long-term customer value.

Supply Chain & Demand Planning Leadership
- Act as the primary commercial partner to the global supply chain organisation.
- Ensure alignment between commercial demand forecasts and operational execution.
- Lead forecasting and demand planning activities across distributor and direct markets.
- Drive product availability and inventory optimisation across regions.
- Support market launches and commercialisation activities in partnership with global teams.
- Develop strong cross-functional collaboration between commercial and operational functions.
Operational Excellence & Business Performance
- Design and implement a scalable operating model that supports continued growth.
- Standardise operational processes and best practices across markets.
- Build meaningful KPI dashboards and performance measurement frameworks.
- Identify and execute operational efficiency and cost optimisation opportunities.
- Lead workforce planning, resource allocation and capacity management.
- Establish governance structures that enable disciplined execution and accountability.
- Drive a culture of continuous improvement across the organisation.
Leadership & Strategic Impact
- Serve as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to senior executive leadership.
- Lead, coach and develop high-performing teams.
- Create an environment focused on accountability, collaboration and innovation.
- Build organisational capability to support future expansion.
- Foster strong partnerships with country leaders and cross-functional stakeholders.
- Champion customer-centric thinking and data-driven decision making throughout the organisation.
What We're Looking For
Essential Experience
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience within operations, commercial operations, customer experience, supply chain, or related disciplines.
- Significant experience leading multi-country organisations within regulated healthcare, medical technology, life sciences, pharmaceutical or similarly complex environments.
- Demonstrated success scaling businesses during periods of rapid growth.
- Strong background in operational excellence, process optimisation and business transformation.
- Experience leading geographically dispersed and culturally diverse teams.
- Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across functions.
