LOCATION: Milton Keynes

HYBRID WORKING: Our current hybrid working policy requires a minimum of 60% of working time to be based in the Milton Keynes office. However, flexibility is expected and, given the nature of this role and the need to provide consistent, in-person support to the CEO and CFO, candidates should expect to be office-based for the majority of the working week, with full-time office attendance required when business needs dictate.

About the Role:

We're looking for an Executive Office Manager to be the trusted partner to our CEO and CFO, ensuring executive priorities, governance activities, and strategic initiatives are delivered effectively.

This high-impact role will be instrumental in enabling the Executive Team to focus on key business objectives by providing proactive support, insightful analysis, exceptional organisation, and seamless coordination across a complex stakeholder landscape. Working at the heart of the business, you'll help drive decision-making, governance, communication, and executive effectiveness.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Providing proactive support to our CEO and CFO, ensuring they are fully prepared for key meetings, events, and strategic discussions.
  • Coordinating Board of Management packs, Commercial Steering Group packs, and executive governance activities.
  • Managing multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines simultaneously while maintaining exceptional attention to detail.
  • Analysing and consolidating complex information into clear, concise, executive-level insights and recommendations.
  • Building trusted relationships with senior stakeholders across the business, Volkswagen Group, our Brands, and the retailer network.
  • Coordinating high-profile meetings, sales conferences, investor events, and executive activities.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve processes through automation, reporting, and more efficient ways of working.
  • Acting as a calm and credible point of contact within a fast-paced Executive Office environment, handling confidential matters with discretion and professionalism.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
