Employment Details

Employment Type: Full Time, Temporary 12 Month Contract with the possibility of extension and/or permanency

Classification: Senior Officer Grade C (PN 71564)

Salary: $127,597 - $136,873 (Plus 12.5% Super)

Location: The Canberra Hospital, Garran

Section: Division of Medicine

Closing Date: 15th October 2026

About the Role

Are you a motivated and adaptable professional with a talent for strategic thinking, stakeholder engagement, and delivering high-quality advice? In this role, you will coordinate Divisional and Government business, including the preparation of Cabinet, Assembly, Ministerial, and Executive briefings and correspondence. You will liaise with the Government Relations Team, undertake research, and prepare advice for the Executive Director on strategic, administrative, and operational matters. You will also contribute to the development and implementation of policies and programs that support the core business of the division, including planning and managing key projects as required.
