Are you a discreet, highly organised, and professional customer service specialist looking to deliver top-tier support in the aviation sector?
We are seeking an Executive Operations Agent to join our dedicated Jet Centre team on a 10-month fixed-term contract to cover Maternity Leave. In this role, you will work collaboratively to provide an exceptional, tailored VIP experience for high-net-worth individuals, confidential clientele, and key aviation stakeholders. You will oversee day-to-day Jet Centre and lounge operations, manage administration, and ensure our facilities and services maintain the highest global standards.
Key Responsibilities
- VIP Customer Experience: Deliver consistent, world-class customer service to clients. Ensure all lounge spaces, bathrooms, and passenger vehicles are impeccably presented and maintained.
- Operational Control: Take full ownership of the operations desk. Handle requests promptly, action flight requests, and oversee daily administrative workflows to keep operations running seamlessly.
- Compliance & Safety: Follow Standard Operating Procedures, Safe Systems of Work, and the Ground Operations Manual at all times. Ensure strict adherence to GDPR regulations when handling sensitive business and client data.
- Stakeholder & Supplier Management: Maintain positive, flexible relationships with third-party service providers, ensuring all delivered services meet the agreed scope and quality standards.
- Incident Reporting: Accurately document, record, and escalate operational incidents to management in accordance with company policy.
- Team Collaboration: Embrace London Southend Airport’s ‘One Team’ culture by supporting colleagues and stepping in across operational areas whenever business needs require.

What We Are Looking For
Skills & Attributes
- Exceptional Communication: Strong verbal, non-verbal, and written communication skills across all professional levels.
- Detail-Oriented & Organised: Superior attention to detail, time management, and monitoring skills.
- Adaptable & Resilient: A flexible mindset with the ability to pivot in dynamic, fast-changing operational environments.
- Relationship Builder: Confident and welcoming, with a natural ability to foster strong relationships with new and returning clients.
- Flexibility: Willingness to remain flexible regarding shift finish times during flight delays or operational disruptions.
Qualifications & Experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and non-verbal communication skills (Mandatory).
- Intermediate computer literacy and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Mandatory).
- Full UK Driving Licence (Advantageous).
- Previous airport or ground handling experience (Advantageous).
- Experience working alongside VIPs, high-profile individuals, or sports teams (Advantageous).
Working Environment & Expectations
This position represents the frontline face of the Jet Centre. The successful candidate will be expected to maintain a professional personal appearance, adhere strictly to uniform and PPE guidelines, and represent the brand with integrity whether on site, during client visits, or at off-site events.
