Job Description

Executive Podcast Producer - Global Studios

At Global, we think big, work hard, and never stand still. We’re the proud home of the best media and entertainment brands on the planet, driven by our talented and passionate people. Our mission? To make everyone’s day brighter - our Globallers, our audiences, our partners, and our communities. Whether we’re in the studio, building world-class technology, or securing record Outdoor advertising partnerships, we make sure we’re doing it as a team.

Your Role: Executive Podcast Producer - Global Studios

Reporting to the Head of Production, you will be the creative and editorial lead for a portfolio of Global Studios shows. You’ll own their overall vision and continued development, setting the creative direction while leading and empowering the production team.

As the senior editorial voice on your titles, you’ll champion creative ambition, editorial quality and audience growth. You’ll build trusted relationships with talent and agents, evolve formats and create opportunities to grow shows across audio, video, social, live and other platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creative and editorial leadership: Set and maintain the creative and editorial direction of assigned titles, overseeing ideas and planning through production, publication and review.
  • Show development and growth: Use audience insight and creative thinking to evolve formats, create bigger moments and identify opportunities to deepen audience engagement across platforms.
  • Team leadership: Lead, support and empower the production team, creating clear structures, production workflows and an ambitious pipeline of ideas.
  • Talent relationships: Build trusted, constructive relationships with talent and agents, helping talent deliver their best work while protecting the creative vision of each show.
  • Cross-functional collaboration: Work closely with colleagues across Video, Social, Marketing, Commercial and Production to develop shows into bigger brands.
  • New content: Partner with the development hub to pilot and launch new shows, bringing strong editorial judgement and operational discipline to delivery.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
