The Eurovision Song Contest exists to show that we are United by Music. It is the world's largest live music event: in 2026, 35 broadcasters took part and the show reached a global audience of 133 million, with a record share of viewers aged 15-24. Hosting the Contest brings significant benefits to the host city, with Vienna welcoming over 500,000 visitors in 2026 and reporting strong demand for accommodation and tickets. The Contest continues to grow beyond Europe, with the first ESC Asia launching in 2026 and further international live activity planned.
Within EBU Media, the Eurovision Song Contest unit is responsible for the editorial, creative and operational integrity of this iconic live event, working closely with Host Broadcasters and EBU Members to deliver world-class shows that reflect the values of public service media.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
