Executive Producer - New Business: Fractional
Location: London, hybrid
Contract: Fractional/Freelance
Sector: Corporate Events/Conferences
We're working with a very established London-based corporate events agency looking for an experienced, well-connected Executive Producer to support their growth into new sectors.
This is a relationship-led role for someone who already has a strong network across the B2B events, marketing and communications space, and knows how to turn senior relationships into meaningful conversations, pitches and new business.
This agency delivers conferences, leadership events, roadshows and client engagement programmes across the UK and internationally, with account management, event management, creative, technical production and logistics handled in-house - the successful candidate will mirror them in terms of corporate conference/congress experience.
The Role
This isn't a traditional business development position or a high-volume sales role. You'll use your existing network, industry credibility and experience to open the right doors and help shape opportunities from the earliest conversation through to pitch.
You'll:
- Introduce the agency to senior contacts across events, marketing and communications
- Build and manage a focused target list of priority accounts
- Arrange and attend introductory meetings alongside the agency team
- Lead early conversations to understand client objectives, audiences and upcoming event programmes
- Get the agency involved early, ideally before a formal brief or tender is written
- Help shape initial thinking around how the agency could approach a client's challenge
- Use your judgement to identify which opportunities are genuinely worth pursuing
- Brief internal proposal teams on the client, stakeholders and commercial opportunity
- Join pitches and client workshops where your relationship and experience add value
- Remain involved as a senior point of contact through the first project with a new client

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
