Job Summary:
We are looking for a talented Executive Recruiter to join our Cummins Inc. team. The position will have the ability to work remotely in the United Kingdom, traveling approximately 10-15% of the time.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Lead executive search strategies that attract and secure exceptional Director-level and above leadership talent aligned to business priorities.
- Partner with senior leaders to translate organizational objectives into targeted executive hiring and succession plans.
- Deliver market intelligence and talent insights that strengthen workforce planning and inform critical leadership decisions.
- Build and cultivate diverse executive talent pipelines that support both immediate hiring needs and long-term growth.
- Influence hiring outcomes through rigorous talent assessment, data-driven recommendations, and strategic consultation.
- Elevate the executive candidate experience through proactive engagement, thoughtful communication, and high-touch relationship management.
- Drive successful offer negotiations and close strategies that improve acceptance rates and secure top executive talent.
- Strengthen executive hiring consistency by championing governance, confidentiality, inclusive practices, and search excellence across the organization.
To be successful in this role, you will need the following:
- Demonstrated success leading complex executive searches for Director-level and above positions while balancing strategic priorities, confidentiality, and stakeholder expectations.
- Strong executive presence, business acumen, and consultative influencing skills with the ability to build credibility and trusted partnerships across senior leadership teams.
- Expertise in executive talent assessment, market mapping, succession planning support, and leveraging talent intelligence to drive informed hiring decisions.
- Exceptional relationship management, project management, communication, and negotiation capabilities coupled with a highly organized and results-focused approach.
- Commitment to advancing diverse and inclusive leadership hiring practices while delivering outstanding candidate and stakeholder experiences.

Education, Licenses, Certifications:
- 7+ years of recruiting experience with at least 3-5 years focused on executive search or senior leadership recruiting.
- Experience recruiting Director+ level talent.
- Experience within a corporate in-house executive search function and/or prior retained search firm experience. Preferably a combination of them both.
- Proven success managing complex, confidential executive searches.
- Strong stakeholder management and consulting skills.
- Experience utilizing executive search methodologies, research tools, and sourcing platforms.
- Excellent interviewing, assessment, and candidate evaluation capabilities.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Experience supporting global and cross-functional executive searches.
- Knowledge of executive compensation structures and incentive programs.
- Experience in behavioral interviewing or executive assessment methodologies.
Additional Responsibilities & Preferred Key Competencies:
- Serve as a strategic talent advisor, providing leadership teams with actionable market intelligence, competitive talent insights, and executive hiring recommendations.
- Utilize executive search methodologies, research tools, sourcing platforms, and organizational mapping techniques to identify and engage top leadership talent.
- Build proactive executive talent communities and leadership pipelines aligned to future business and succession planning needs.
- Partner effectively with HR, Total Rewards, and business leaders to support executive compensation discussions, offer development, onboarding, and leadership transitions.
- Apply strong behavioral interviewing and executive assessment practices to evaluate leadership capability, strategic impact, and organizational fit.
- Leverage data-driven decision-making to measure search effectiveness, optimize hiring outcomes, and strengthen talent acquisition strategies.
- Demonstrate executive presence, discretion, confidentiality, and sound judgment while managing highly sensitive leadership searches.
- Foster inclusive hiring practices by developing diverse executive candidate slates and expanding access to underrepresented leadership talent.
- Collaborate across global and cross-functional teams to deliver consistent, high-quality executive search outcomes in a complex business environment.
- Exhibit adaptability, relationship-building expertise, strategic thinking, and strong communication skills to influence stakeholders and drive successful hiring decisions.
