Talent Acquisition Lead — Executive Search
London (hybrid) · Full time · Confidential search
A well-funded technology business in London is hiring a Talent Acquisition Lead to build and run its executive search function.
It's a build role and a hands-on one. You'd personally close the senior hires, then hire and lead a small team behind you.
What you'll do
- Own full-cycle search for senior hires across Operations, Engineering, Finance, and Legal, market mapping, and direct sourcing through to offer and onboarding.
- Build the executive search function itself: process, tools, metrics, and the standard for search quality and candidate assessment.
- Hire, train, and grow a team of two to three recruiters, allocate roles, and hold the bar on pipeline quality.
- Work directly with founders and function leaders to understand each role's profile and the business context behind it.
- Build and maintain a talent map across technical, AI, and adjacent industries.
- Represent the business in the senior candidate market and lead high-level negotiations.

What they're looking for
- Seven years or more in recruiting, a good part of it in executive search or headhunting at C-level and above.
- A track record closing senior roles in Operations, Engineering, Finance, or Legal.
- Experience inside a Deep-Tech or adjacent AI business.
- Experience building and managing a small recruiting team.
- Strong direct sourcing, market mapping, and negotiation with top-tier candidates.
- Comfortable with high ambiguity and fast growth, without heavy corporate process.
