We are looking for a curious, ambitious, and commercially minded individual to join our highly respected Executive Search team as an Executive Recruitment Researcher.


The incoming Executive Researcher will play a key role in identifying, researching, and engaging exceptional talent for our outstanding client base. This is an excellent opportunity to develop a career in executive search, working closely with experienced consultants and gaining exposure to senior candidates and businesses across a range of sectors.

Previous industry experience is desirable but not essential. We would welcome applications from experienced recruitment or talent acquisition professionals, as well as ambitious graduates or individuals looking to build a career in executive search.

Responsibilities

  • Identifying, approaching, and engaging high calibre talent through market research, networking, referrals, and headhunting.
  • Continuously building and developing networks of both active and passive candidates.
  • Meeting with candidates to assess their suitability for opportunities, provide career guidance, and support them throughout the recruitment process.
  • Attending client meetings and presentations.
  • Building and developing strong working relationships with candidates and clients throughout the lifecycle of an assignment.
  • Creating research, candidate, and assignment documentation to support each stage of the recruitment process.
  • Conducting market mapping and talent research to identify individuals who meet our clients' requirements.
  • Working closely with consultants to develop longlists and shortlists for executive-level roles and attending subsequent interviews.
  • Researching and providing market intelligence, competitor insight, and talent mapping on an ongoing basis.
  • Tracking market activity and identifying high-growth businesses, organisations undergoing change, and potential new client opportunities.
  • Identifying connections, mutual contacts, and relevant market intelligence to support effective introductions and business development activity.
  • Working with the team to develop networks within specific sectors and talent pools.
  • Supporting the Executive Search team to plan, coordinate, and attend client and candidate events, networking opportunities, and other value-added initiatives.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • High levels of emotional intelligence and the ability to build rapport with a wide range of people.

This role will suit someone who is both detail-oriented and people-focused. You will take ownership of projects from initial research through to completion, ensuring every stage is delivered to the highest possible standard.

This is not a purely desk-based research role. You will be speaking with and meeting candidates, clients, and attending networking events as an integral part of the wider Axon Moore team.
