Executive Reward and Share Plans Manager
This role sits within the Share Plans & Executive Reward team and offers hands-on exposure to a broad range of share plans and executive compensation topics in a global, FTSE 10 organisation. You will work closely with a variety of internal stakeholders, including the Global Mobility team, contributing to complex and high-impact reward and share plans matters with international reach.
The position offers a broad remit and significant variety, providing an excellent opportunity to build deep expertise in executive reward and share plans while developing strong stakeholder management skills. With exposure to senior stakeholders, governance processes, and cross-functional collaboration, the role offers strong development and learning opportunities, with scope to grow and shape your career in line with your ambitions.
Your Key Responsibilities Will Include
- Partner closely with the Group Head of Share Plans, Senior Executive Reward Managers, and the Group Head of Executive Compensation to support the effective delivery of BAT’s share plans and executive compensation.
- Contribute to the technical delivery of the annual global share plan events, such as grant and vest, working with internal stakeholders, global tax advisors, legal teams, and share plan administrators.
- Manage the global good leaver process.
- Undertake share plans-related research and analysis, staying up to date on developments.
- Prepare executive shareholding reports and other analytics to support governance, reporting, and internal reviews.
- Prepare, maintain, and update share plan process documentation to support effective controls and audit readiness.
- Support communication and correspondence with employees on share plan matters, ensuring clarity, consistency, and professionalism.
- Manage employee-facing online share plan communications, ensuring content is accurate, timely, and aligned with global principles.
- Liaise with the Global Mobility team on share plan matters relating to international assignees, ensuring alignment with assignment arrangements.
- Coordinate with regional and local Reward and HR teams to review local communication requirements, ensuring communications are compliant with local regulations and consistent with global frameworks.
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with external vendors and key internal stakeholders to support effective program delivery.

What Are We Looking For?
- Solid understanding of global and UK all-employee share plans
- Deep understanding of tax concepts (tax certifications is an advantage) and being able to work with regulatory information.
- Excellent attention to detail, as well as excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong computer literacy (must be proficient with MS Excel).
- Ability to deliver concurrent projects, working to tight deadlines.
- Experience preparing and delivering employee-facing communications.
Education / Qualifications / Certifications Required
- University degree in math, science, or economics is preferred.
- Qualification/certification in tax or accounting.
- Fluent English.
