Job Description

I'm working on a retained mandate for a search firm that specialises in the PE and VC-backed technology start-up market. Around 75% of its work involves building go-to-market (GTM) teams for companies at Series B and C.

The Role: Client Partner / Partner

  • Run the full search process from start to finish
  • Lead a team of Associates, Senior Associates, and Principals, and put in place processes that keep delivery quality high
  • Grow existing clients through repeat and larger retained work. A separate growth team handles new business, so this is not a business development role.

What the Firm Is Looking For

  • Proven experience running searches from start to finish, including managing a delivery team
  • A strong understanding of GTM structures in start-ups, and senior contacts among GTM leaders
  • Experience with North American GTM searches is preferred, since around 75% of current mandates are US-based

Package

  • Base salary of £60,000 to £100,000, with OTE of £120,000 to £180,000.
