Executive Search Consultant | Financial Services | London (3 days onsite)
I'm partnering with a highly regarded boutique retained search firm that specialises exclusively in financial services. They're known in the market for the quality of their work, long-standing client relationships and a genuinely collaborative, low-ego culture, and they're now looking to add an experienced Consultant to their growing London team.
The opportunity
You'll run senior, retained mandates end to end across financial services, working closely with the firm's Partners on business development, client relationships and delivery. With a flat structure and no internal politics, there's real scope to build your own profile and a clear route towards Principal and Partner for the right person.

What you'll be doing
- Leading search execution from strategy and market mapping through to candidate assessment, shortlist presentation and offer management.
- Acting as a trusted adviser to clients and candidates at board and C-suite level.
- Contributing to pitches and new business.
- Helping shape the firm's market insight and thought leadership.
What they're looking for
- Several years' experience in retained executive search (or a comparable research-led, senior-level recruitment environment), ideally with exposure to financial services, whether banking, asset and wealth management, insurance, private markets or fintech.
- Strong assessment and stakeholder skills.
- A consultative approach.
- The ambition to grow within a boutique where your contribution is highly visible.
